Working with Saxon Trainor has made me a better actor. She has taught me so much and given me the tools to create unique people who inhabit very specific worlds. I would not be where I am today without her.

I have been working with Saxon Trainor for so many years now, it's hard to imagine doing my job without her. I think she is one of the most talented people I have ever had the pleasure to work with in this industry. I love the way she teaches me how to be a better actress without telling me exactly how to act.  Instead when we work, we dive into the story and conversations at hand by creating more depth to what might be written on the page. I sincerely don't know if I would be at this place in my career, and enjoy what I do, without the process of work she has taught me. Saxon reminds me every time we coach that even though being an actor can be discouraging, unfair, and frustrating- we make art. And Saxon helps me make beautiful art every time.

Saxon Trainor is a shapeshifter. A session starts out like two actor friends running lines, then it turns into theatre camp with her being the artsy fartsy theatre director and you the eager to please ingenue and finally it ends with her putting on her no-nonsense casting director hat where she helps you apply the character work in a literal and logical way. And if your blood sugar is plummeting she has a nice stack of granola bars and bottled water to boot.

Working with Saxon Trainor has made me a better actor. She has taught me so much and given me the tools to create unique people who inhabit very specific worlds. I would not be where I am today without her.  Saxon is an incredible acting coach who quite simply transforms my auditions and likelihood of booking - just by working with her. Extremely specific, knowledgable and honest she is a valuable part of my team. Her eye, bottomless pit of ideas and the confidence she gives me in my own instincts are what make the difference in rooms and on set and I will be eternally grateful. I have read that as an actor 'Your talent is in the choices that you make' and for me that includes whom i choose to work with on my craft.

- Judith Shekoni

I will always owe Saxon a debt of gratitude.   She has a gentle way of revealing the layers of any story through the use of the imagination. She taught me not only how to reveal my deepest, truest self in any story, but also to stop thinking like an actor and start living like a human being with an experience to share. Whether I'm preparing for an opportunity (audition) or a job on Broadway or film, Saxon's  compassion, depth of knowledge and empathy have always allowed me to enter the world of the writer way beneath the words, and have a uniquely deep and personal experience.

- Brad Schmidt

Saxon has the ability to make a scripted world become an absolute reality to an actor.  Using everything on the page, the actor truly becomes the character so that there is no "acting" involved.  I use her method for every character I play, and it's the only way I feel really comfortable with myself as the character and the overall work I'm doing.  I would reccommend her to EVERYBODY.  You will instantly notice the difference in how vivid the circumstances of a scene feel; and once it is real to you, it is real for the audience.

- Joe Adler

I always go back to Saxon. There are hundreds of acting schools in Los Angeles all claiming to be the best so I was rigorous in my search. I knew I wanted a safe and nurturing environment but still a challenging one. I've tried other schools and no one else fills that criteria. She sees how we need to grow and pushes us to our best edge.

Saxon Trainor is my not-so-secret secret weapon.  She pushes me to live in my work, search for the truth and truly listen.  Her technique trains you to breathe life into a character in such a way that you don't see the seams of the work.  Her insight astonishes and inspires me. She's my generation's Stella Adler.

- Natalie Smyka

Saxon is truly amazing. I've been in her on going class and have done private coachings with her for almost 3 years now. It's rare to find a more caring compassionate teacher. She has a Buddist like method to acting that's actually a "state of being". She'll dig down and push aside the actor in you and find the "human being". She will transform you in to a more empathetic listener, a more inquisitive performer and will teach you to find your voice through the story. Don't waste a year like I did, popping from bad teachers to the waste of time and money acting schools through out LA... Take her class, start absorbing her techniques and start booking!.... It won't just change your acting, it'll change the way you look at life.

Coming from a New York theater background, I needed help transitioning to the TV/ film world. Not only did Saxon help me develop my auditioning technique but she built on skills that I already had and took my acting to a whole different level. I call it my "road map," where I can bring in all the things that are uniquely me. Now, when I walk into an audition, not only am I confident and solid in my approach, but for the first time, I'm having fun!
